2024 Honda Prologue

The 2024 Honda Prologue is a fully electric SUV built on an 85 kWh Ultium battery pack and offered in single-motor front-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. In its FWD setup, it delivers about 212 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque, while the AWD variant bumps output to 288 hp and 333 lb-ft combined. Honda claims an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 296 miles for FWD versions and roughly 281 miles for AWD trims. Fast charging capabilities allow it to regain ~65 miles of range in about 10 minutes (for the FWD model), and the 20–80 % DC fast charge time is roughly 35 minutes.

The Prologue presents a clean, modern “neo-rugged” aesthetic, with a streamlined profile, sculpted body surfaces, and a distinctive illuminated Honda badge up front. It rides on large wheels, up to 21-inch aluminum alloys on higher trims, and a relatively wide stance, giving it a composed and SUV-ready presence. Its dimensions include a length around 192.0 in, width about 78.3 in, and height in the mid-60s (varies slightly between 2WD and AWD versions). Ground clearance sits near 7.9–8.1 in depending on drivetrain.

Inside, the Prologue features a tech-centric and minimalist cabin with a focus on comfort and usability. The layout includes a digital instrument cluster, large central touchscreen interface (with Google built-in), and intuitive controls. Higher trims offer leather-trimmed seating, heated and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting in footwells and cupholders, and a full suite of comfort amenities. Cargo and passenger space benefit from the flat battery “skateboard” layout, letting the Prologue offer competitive rear seat legroom and flexible cargo storage.

The Prologue comes standard with Honda’s “Google built-in” connectivity, integrating Google Maps, Google Assistant, and access to apps directly via the vehicle’s infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported. It also offers a wireless phone charging pad, and HondaLink app support for remote charging control, status monitoring, and locating charging stations. On higher trims, advanced features such as a head-up display and Bose premium audio system enhance the tech experience.

Safety is anchored by Honda Sensing®, the automaker’s integrated suite of driver-assist technologies, which includes features like forward collision mitigation, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and more. Passive safety systems are comprehensive, with airbags (front, side, curtain, knee), LATCH anchors for child seats, and seatbelt reminders for all seats. The Prologue also includes features like Blind Zone Steering Assist to help reduce lane-change risks. In higher trims you also get parking assist (front and rear) to ease maneuvering in tight spots.
