2026 Honda CR-V

The 2026 CR-V offers both a turbocharged gas engine and a two-motor hybrid system. The gas model uses a 1.5-L inline-4 turbo producing about 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid powertrain kicks output up to 204 hp and can be paired with available AWD. Fuel efficiency for the gas-turbo 2WD version is rated around 28 city / 34 highway / 30 combined mpg, while the hybrid is rated up to 40 city / 34 highway / 37 combined mpg when including AWD versions.

The CR-V is styled with rugged-crossover appeal: roof rails, a hands-free power tailgate, gloss-black grille (especially on sport / hybrid trims), dual chrome exhaust finishers on hybrid models, LED headlights and taillights, and available gloss-black alloy wheels. The body has a long wheelbase and wide stance, giving both room and presence. Ground clearance is about 7.8 inches for 2WD and about 8.2 inches for AWD versions. Cargo volume is generous: with rear seats up you're looking at ~39.3 cubic feet in many trims, and with the rear seats folded ~76.5 cubic feet.

Inside, the CR-V offers a clean, minimalist layout with expansive sight lines. Higher trims have cloth or leather-trimmed seats, with hybrid trims featuring contrast stitching (for instance in orange) on seats, steering wheel, shift knob for sporty feel. Driver and front passenger comfort is boosted with features like a 10-way power adjustable driver seat (with 2-way lumbar), optional memory for driver’s seat in upper trims, and reclining / folding split rear seats (60/40) for flexibility. Climate control is dual-zone, and in colder weather you can get heated front seats and heated steering wheel in some trims.

The CR-V is well equipped on tech. Selected trims (EX-L, Sport-L Hybrid, Sport Touring Hybrid) get a 9-inch touch screen infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay®, etc. All trims include front & rear USB ports; higher ones add USB-C in more places. Higher trims also get HondaLink apps, power moonroof, driver information display with hybrid power meter where applicable.

The standard Honda Sensing® suite is on board: forward collision warning / mitigation, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with low speed follow, road departure mitigation, etc. Also features like multi-angle rearview camera, blind spot information system, cross-traffic monitor, walk-away auto lock, parking sensors on higher trims.
